As seen !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I’m making the ~3000 mi drive across the country, and I’m wondering what do to with my time.
The countdown has begun! Tomorrow all my stuff gets loaded in a truck, and we room with our neighbor till my better-looking half jumps on a plane on Friday. From that point on, I have to pay for gas, but that is about it.
So, what should I do?

I’d say Carhenge, but that will take you out of the south.

You never said what sort of things you want to see, or what you like, so it’s hard to give more suggestions.

Yea, probably not worth the it. Especially since you really need to spend at least a few days in Yellowstone to really appreciate it.

Honestly, just about anything. I love cars, food, nature, etc. About the only thing I’m not sure keen on is modern or abstract art.

Well here’s some reading:

For the most part, I’d just stay on or close to I-40. And there’s some stuff that’s not too far off I-40 that’s worth seeing, like Chaco Canyon I mentioned previously. Although I would recommend skipping the deep south, if you end up getting to the east coast ahead of schedule, a detour into SC, might be fun, Charleston is a beautiful city for a day trip, with a pretty neat Aquarium and Fort Sumter to visit. Also in Nashville you can stop by the Lane Motor Museum.
